If you are a true “left bank” Bordeaux wine fan then not only will this estate blend impress, it will deceive you if inserted into a blind tasting against those overseas versions. Chocolate spice, cloves, pepper, and minerality entice the nose with subtle notes of cigar box and rum cake. But that is just the nose, wait till your taste buds ignite with a rich sensation
of vanilla, cedar, followed by polished tannins with great length of finish. The true connoisseur will pick up some wonderful dark fruit components in the bouquet, which will tip its hand to being one of a kind –a Californian
original.
