With an initial tease of cherry, cola, cardamom, and tealeaves it is no wonder this wine pleases the palate with a rich red fruit taste and silky tannin finish. Our neutral oak barrels emulate the cask ageing found in Chianti, Tuscany. An old world grape made in a new world style, this Sangiovese was born to illustrate why California is not just great at making food friendly wines, but also to show off its adopted second home at our estate in the Santa Ynez Valley.
